Times are too dark so we used our Geal Pure Single White Rum for Islay's version of a dark and stormy!
50ml The Original Islay Geal Rum
100ml ginger beer
5ml sugar syrup (optional)
Dash of Angostura Bitters
A wedge of lime
Fresh Mint
In a tall glass add ice, pour in rum, ginger beer and Angostura Bitters then squeeze your wedge of lime in. Add some mint, give it a stir and pop another wedge of lime on top.

30ml freshly squeezed lime juice
1 dash Angostura bitters
Lime wheel to garnish

Using lemonade in this delicious cocktail is a nod to our iconic distillery - The Old Lemonade Factory!
250ml The Original Islay Rum Geal
125ml fresh lime juice
125g sugar
190ml Lemonade (Sprite or 7 Up)
500g frozen strawberries
Place rum, lime juice, sugar and lemonade into blender and blend gently until sugar dissolved.
Add frozen strawberries a few at a time, blending until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with a strawberry and lime wheel.
